Please answer the multiple-choice question below
Q) Why do you think it is that Mojo magazine has not reviewed our publication ‘Living life without Loving The Beatles'?
The copies that were sent over a year ago to various Mojo editors and journalists all got lost in the post.
A review of the first ever book that challenges the myth of the most celebrated musical group that has ever existed would be of absolutely no interest whatsoever to a Mojo reader.
The staff at Mojo magazine have had their hands full reviewing more worthwhile, ground-breaking and intellectually stimulating Beatles books – Ringo Was The Walrus and Alan Williams Is The Fool On The Hill being two recent examples that spring to mind.
Despite ‘Living Life Without Loving The Beatles' having been
reviewed in a cross section of well established, major publications such
as Maxim , The
Herald and Record Collector to name but a few, the staff at Mojo magazine
still felt that the book was unworthy of attention in a publication of their
stature
(Note: Circulation figures for Mojo magazine and the publications
mentioned above are available in The Writers Handbook, edited by Barry Turner
and published annually by Macmillan)
